Appsc group 1 further details

s.r.sharma series (blue color)books are great source for tackling the history questions for subjective paper round. the syllabus has been revised and now the students have no choice but to attempt all the parts. The new Appsc group 1 syllabus does not allow you to take any two subjects of your choice and prepare as per it.

according to this , the total marks for the exam are 750. This includes marks from 5 subjects in written exam-
paper 1 general essay (150 marks)
paper 2 history & cultural heritage; social history of AP and overview of Indian Constitution (150 marks)
Paper 3 Planning in India, land reforms and AP's economy.(150 marks)
Paper 4 impact of science & technology, life sciences; development and environmental problems (150 marks)
Paper 5 Data interpretation, problem solving and statistics.(150 marks)

The General English paper is of 150 marks but you only need to get passing marks in it to qualify for the whole written exam and move on to the interview level. The General English marks are not added to the other papers. It is only to qualify for the next level.
